Escape into the world of Korngold as violinist Viviane Hagner performs the composer’s Concerto for Violin. Known for his movie scores (The Adventures of Robin Hood), Korngold draws thematic material for this concerto from his works in that genre. Though your adventurous spirit will certainly be roused, the only bows permitted are those of the string players.

Orchestras Feeding America
1 in 8 people in our country don’t know where their next meal is coming from. In response to this critical situation, Utah Symphony | Utah Opera is asking the community to join together for the Orchestras Feeding America National Food Drive on March 27 & 28, 2009.

Tell your friends and family to stop by Abravanel Hall on March 27 & 28 to donate non-perishable food to the Utah Food Bank. You can also donate when you attend this concert.
