Upcoming concerts at Kol Ami
In March, Utah Symphony cellist Pegsoon Whang, violinist Lun Jiang, and pianist Hyunsoon Whang played a fabulous concert at Kol Ami as part of their ongoing concert series. On the program was the Dumky Trio by Dvorak, the Gypsy Trio by Haydn, and the Violin Sonata in A by Brahms. The group was stellar and set high standards for the series!
On Monday evening May 4th at 7:00 PM, The Congregation Kol Ami Concert Series will present Utah Symphony Lynn Maxine Rosen, clarinetist David Asman, violist Joel Rosenberg, and Utah Symphony cellist Carolee Baron, violinist Nathan Mueller along with guitarist Tully Cathey in a performance of a Paganini Quartet and Osvaldo Golijov’s extraordinary composition, The Dreams and Prayers of Isaac the Blind.

The next music program in the series will be the Benny Goodman Centennial Concert Saturday, May 31st, with Tad Calcara and the New Deal Swing Band. This will be a cabaret style concert with refreshment historic film footage and memorabilia, followed by dancing. Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door or $300 per table.
