2008 Web Sale - This Week Only

September 2nd, 2008 by Jon Miles

For those of you who like to go to more than one or two Utah Symphony and Utah Opera performances each year but aren’t ready to commit to a subscription yet, there’s a really good sale going on this week.

Each summer around Labor Day weekend, Utah Symphony | Utah Opera has our online sale. This year, if you buy tickets to three or more performances, you can save 20% on your tickets! For the classical concerts, that means you can get tickets for as little as $12! Not bad.

The sale started last Friday and we’ve already sold thousands of dollars in tickets. In fact, I noticed today that the $12 seats for Ode to Joy (our season opener and one of our most popular concerts) are already gone. If you want to get a great deal and the best seats, move quickly! The sale ends at Midnight on September 7.

EDIT: 09/03/2008 - If you’re waiting for the last day to buy your tickets, don’t wait! We’ve sold almost two times as many tickets in the first five days of this year’s web sale as we did in the first five days of last year’s web sale. Great tickets are still available, but they could disappear quickly.
